  Drying is one of the important processes in feed processing. The feed pellets just extruded from the machine have a high moisture content of over 22%, and must be equipped with drying equipment to remove more than 10% of the moisture and then be cooled to ensure that it reaches the qualified product quality. Most of the feed dryers used in machine feed processing use conveyor belts and chain plate box dryers. This type of feed dryer is a horizontal structure, covering a large area and high cost. Most of the newly built factories still rely on imports. At the same time, in actual production, there are still problems such as high drying energy consumption of supporting fan power, steam consumption of more than 500kg per ton, and clogging of screen (mesh) holes, which significantly increase the processing cost of extruded feed.

This machine is suitable for drying all kinds of slag materials with water content less than 85%, such as beer lees, alcohol lees, pomace, medicine dregs, sauce lees, sugar dregs, starch dregs, livestock manure, slaughter scraps, wheat bran, etc. , It has a good effect on opening up feed resources, reducing feeding costs and reducing environmental pollution.


 The feed dryer is mainly composed of a heat source, a feeder, a feeder, a rotary drum, a discharging machine, an induced draft fan, a discharger and a power distribution cabinet; after the dehydrated wet material is added to the dryer, it is in the drum When the evenly distributed plate copying device is turned, the materials are evenly dispersed in the dryer and fully contact with the hot air, which speeds up the heat and mass transfer of drying. In the drying process, the material is discharged to the star discharge valve in the other section of the dryer under the action of the inclined board and the hot temperament.

The drum of the feed dryer is a slightly inclined and rotatable cylinder. The feed enters from the upper part of one end, and the dry material is collected from the lower part of the other end. The hot air enters from the feed end or the discharge end and is discharged from the upper part of the other end. The barrel is equipped with a forward copying board, so that the material is continuously picked up and sprinkled during the rotation of the barrel, so that it is fully in contact with the hot air flow to improve the drying efficiency and move the material forward. The heat source for drying the feed is generally hot air , High temperature flue gas, water vapor, etc. It can be selected according to the nature and quality requirements of the feed.
