Definition of pet food:

Pet feed refers to products that are industrially processed and produced for direct consumption by pets. It is also called pet food, including pet compound feed, pet additive premix feed and other pet feeds.

raw material:

Pet food is mainly based on protein and fat raw materials, including wheat, soybean meal, rapeseed meal, rice bran, bran, blood meal, bone meal, meat meal, oil, antibiotics, vitamins, etc.
Process introduction:

The pet feed is characterized by fine pulverization (60-80 mesh required), high maturation and conditioning requirements, high oil content (using a combination of mixer + extruder + powder spraying), and finished particle diameter range Wide (particle diameter is about 0.6-20mm). The pet feed production line is designed to produce 2-3T/H per hour. It adopts the ingredients first and then the crushing process, that is, the first batching, the first pre-mixing and crushing, the second fine crushing, the second mixing, puffing, drying, powder spraying and cooling , Packaging of finished products. The total power of the equipment is approximately: 505KW; the construction area of the production area is approximately 19×12×19m (height); it is equipped with a 1.5T boiler. The whole line has compact design, reasonable structure, meets environmental protection requirements, and can be oriented design according to customer requirements.


Process characteristics and section introduction:

Due to the high fat and oil content of pet food raw materials, it would be more difficult for the grinder to crush a single raw material with high fat if the conventional powder-first-preparation process is adopted. Therefore, the pre-prepared powder-after process is generally used.

Raw material receiving and cleaning section: In this section, the pellet feeding cleaning and powder feeding cleaning are separated independently, and the dust is removed separately, and the dust removal effect is good.

Cleaning equipment: SCY80 pellet screen, designed to produce 20-30T/H per hour;

One batching section: This section adopts 10 batching bins and one batching scale for batching. It is controlled by the batching program independently developed by our company to realize accurate fast and slow feeding, fast batching speed and high precision.

Weighing equipment: batching scale PCS-05, batching accuracy: dynamic ≤ 3‰, static ≤ 1‰.

One-time pre-mixing and crushing section: This section uses a ribbon mixer for pre-mixing to improve the uniformity of the materials before crushing; the raw materials of a crusher are removed by a magnetic separator before entering the warehouse to ensure the safe operation of the crusher.

Pre-mixing equipment: screw ribbon mixer SLHY1, (11KW, 500kg/batch), with a design output of 3-5T/H per hour. Mixing uniformity CV≤7%.

Crushing equipment: crusher SFSP568-Ⅱ, 37KW, designed to produce 3-5T/H per hour (¢2.0mm sieve hole).

Micro-powder section: Because the extruder has relatively high requirements for the fineness of raw materials, generally 60-80 mesh, this section uses a micro-pulverizer, adopts air-driven discharging, is equipped with brake dragon, pulse dust collector, and crushes The fineness can be adjusted.

Micro-powder equipment: crusher SFSP668*600, 55KW, designed to produce 2-4T/H per hour.

Secondary mixing section: This section uses two secondary batching bins, a mixer, and a small material addition port.

Mixing equipment: mixer SHSJ1, (11KW, 500kg/batch), designed to produce 3-5T/H per hour. Mixing uniformity CV≤5%.

Expansion section: This section adopts a twin-screw extruder. Above the extruder is a round silo to be expanded and equipped with a pan feeder to prevent material arching and smooth discharge.

Expansion equipment: Twin-screw extruder SPHS98×2, 1.5+5.5+11+110+4+1.5KW (with single-layer conditioner + double-shaft differential conditioner), design output per hour: 2-3T/H ( ¢4mm template aperture), drying equipment: SHGW24X2-6, power 0.55+1.5×2+7.5×8+0.55KW, design output per hour: 4-6T/H

Spraying and packing section: This section adopts customized hybrid powder spraying and spraying equipment, and two weight-reducing silos are set up before entering the equipment to meet the proportion control of batching. Powder spraying and grout spraying solves the requirement that the amount of oil added in the early material should not be too much to meet the requirements of the amount of oil added, and the sprayed feed has good appearance, strong palatability and strong nutrition. Finally, after cooling by a pendulum cooler, it is screened and packed.

Powder spraying equipment: SHSJ1, (11KW, 500kg/batch), designed to produce 2-3T/H per hour. Mixing uniformity CV≤5%.

Pendulum cooler: SKLB4, 1.1+1.5KW, 4m³ volume, designed to produce 3-4T/H per hour (the specific gravity of the extruded material is small, and the volume is large).

Packing equipment: fast single-bucket particle scale for extruded materials, packing range of 20-50kg/bag, 4-6 bags/min.

Auxiliary section: Dust removal system, dust removal at the packing mouth, improve the working environment of workers; grease addition system, water addition system, improve the palatability of feed.



According to the needs of different customers, the solution can be optimized for configuration:

1. This plan adopts the process of mixing first and then powder, and the raw material warehouse is also used as ingredients, which simplifies the process and saves costs. The number of silos and buffer hoppers can be adjusted according to customer needs. For example, setting two buffer hoppers for feeding can reduce the waiting time of batching and improve efficiency;

2. The secondary micro pulverization process can select more efficient and finer ultra-fine pulverization equipment according to the customer's specific production materials, but the cost will increase;

3. The configuration of the extruder is a single-layer conditioner + a dual-axis differential conditioner. The single-axis conditioner is used to add more meat slurry and grease to it. If the fat content is not high At the time, customers can not use single-layer conditioners according to the situation, thereby reducing costs;

4. Finished product packaging equipment can be customized according to the customer's packaging specifications and requirements. Generally, the finished product packaging of pet materials can be divided into small packaging and large packaging, and different packaging equipment will be used.
