Finished peanut oil can generally be divided into pressed peanut oil and leached peanut oil. Pressed peanut oil is the oil pressed by the oil press we are familiar with. The leaching process is to extract oil through solvent leaching. These two processes are also the two processes used by oil mills today. The oil content of peanuts is above 40%, which is a high-oil oil. Therefore, most oil mills use the pressing process to produce peanut oil, which can be processed into fragrant peanut oil or pressed peanut oil through different processes. The oil mill processes peanut oil from raw materials to oil and needs to go through multiple processes such as cleaning, stone removal, crushing, softening, rolling, steaming, pressing, filtering, and refining. These processes have the following functions.
1. Cleaning and stone removal: This is to remove impurities such as stones, sand, and plant stem diameter mixed in during peanut harvesting, transportation, and drying. This step can not only improve the quality of peanut oil, but also avoid the adverse effects of impurities on equipment such as wear.
2. Crushing, softening, and rolling: The softening of crushed peanuts can improve the willfulness of oil and reduce the powder level during rolling. Rolling can process peanuts into thin slices, change the organizational structure of peanuts, expand the surface area, shorten the oil path, and facilitate the extraction of oil.
3. Steaming and frying: The purpose of steaming and frying is to adjust the temperature and humidity of the peanut embryo so that it can be better squeezed by the oil press to extract oil. The steaming and frying process is also the source of the aroma of peanut oil. The peanut oil squeezed from the steamed and fried peanuts has a stronger aroma.
4. Pressing and refining: The pre-treated peanut embryos are pressed by the oil press to obtain crude peanut oil. According to the quality grade of peanut oil required by the oil mill, the corresponding refining equipment and process are configured. The crude oil is refined and impurities are removed to obtain finished peanut oil.
The above is the extraction process of peanut oil. The configuration of the peanut oil production line needs to take into account the size of the investor's plant, output, quality, budget and other conditions, and then provide equipment configuration plans as needed.
